The 41st Annual General Meeting of the Singapore Senior Golfers' Society will be held on Friday 15 May 2009 at 6.45pm in the Bukit Room Singapore Island Country Club Bukit Location.

Visit to the Asian Civilizations Museum—15 June 2.45 pm

SSGS invites members to the Asian Civilizations Museum, Empress Place, to view the Emperor Kangxi(1654-1722) Exhibition. This is a first class exhibition from China.
The tour will be guided by a curator of the Museum specially arranged for SSGS. Members need not pay the usual entrance fees.
The Asian Civilizations Museum is world class. For those who have not visited the Museum before, this is a great opportunity to do so.
The Museum visit is open to all members. Those attending lunch at Ah Yat Restaurant can round up the afternoon with a visit to the Museum too. To assist us in our arrangements, please inform the office(Tel 67380655) of your interest by 1 June.

SSGS Lunch at Ah Yat Restaurant
In our last Newsletter, we informed you that plans were being made for lunch gatherings for members of SSGS. Patron Abraham Loh has been urging the GC for sometime to organize get-togethers and having regular lunches was one of his pet ideas.
Good News! We have arranged for regular lunches at Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant at very special rates. The lunches will be part sponsored by SSGS sponsors like Mr Abraham Loh, Mr Toh Shung Chee, Mr Tan Ah Lye, Mr Leong Mun Sum, and the Restaurant. Members will pay a highly subsidized rate for first class food.
So set aside lunch time on Monday 15 June 2009 for a wonderful feast.
Venue : Ah Yat Seafood Restaurant at Main Grandstand Turf City, Turf Club Road (at the opposite end of Giant Supermarket)
Time : 1230
Date : Monday 15, June 2009
Cost : $10 nett per attendee Members can bring one guest at same price and
$20.00 each for subsequent guests.
To enable us to make the above offer, the Restaurant will absorb the service charge, GST , towels, tea etc and Mr Abraham Loh will be the first sponsor.
