Ho Chi Minh Golf Tour

The Society is organising a golf tour to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam from Feb 17-21 2009.

The cost is S$1448 single and S$1250 twin plus $145 airport tax. The proposed hotel is Lavender Hotel or similar. Entry form and deposit of $500 must be in by 7 Jan 2009

SSGS Hole-in-One Achievers

Many golfers play golf for decades and never had a hole-in-one. But SSGS member Ho Wing Yin, who considers himself a lucky guy had 2 in his bag – one at the Seletar CC way back on 26 Feb 1989 and on 28 Jul 08 at the Par 3 (Hole 11) TMCC (Garden Course). His flight-mate also got a hole-in-one at another Par 3 (Hole 3) in the same game!
Congratulations and go for your third!Another great achievement came from Ng Ah Sek . He achieved his feat at the 11th hole of Sime Course during the SICC-SSGS Friendly Game at the Singapaore Island Country Club on 17 October o8. Congratulations. This is Ah Sek’s second hole-in-one as well. The first was at the Sembawang CC in 1979. Congratulations!
Both achievements happened at the wrong time..or else they would have got a Katana set sponsored by Pan West or even a Mercedes Benz!

The Society has made arrangements with the management of Palm Springs - to allow members of SSGS for play at Palm Springs in Batam at a special concession rate forday or overnight trips
Day trip is $92 (green/buggy/ferry/caddy)
